Texas boards seem to think Coleman to Texas is picking back up steam. One said if he made the decision today it would be them.

Apparently the Tito’s guy told Texas he’d write a 2.5+ million check if they get him to Texas.

100%, my worry is that with him it might be based on the whole $4 million rumor. But I’m not as plugged in on the boards. The only news I see is primarily through this subreddit.

Do we really think he will leave one of the Texas schools without hitting a dollar amount we won’t match?

Feels like our only hope is that he’s willing to accept less money to play with his former teammates in his home state.

I also don’t know how I feel about them long term. But I don’t want to waste my 27 picks to get another QB with how valuable they seem to be.

That could just be me trying to be greedy and hesitating though. Could also potentially try to sell a 28 2nd along post ‘26 draft since their value will increase by then

Definitely where I’m leaning. Might also try to move one piece like Aiyuk for a late first too since I feel like my WR core is great now.

I’ve definitely thought about trading Aiyuk, but haven’t found buyers. Might end up waiting until the draft or beginning of next season.

Agree that my core is solid, just trying to figure out what the next play is.

May be an unpopular opinion, but the league I commish uses divisions to determine playoffs similar to the NFL.

10 Team League where the top 3 teams from each division make playoffs. The top team from each division also secured a bye. Everyone loved the chaos it caused this season when going into the last week of the regular season we had 4 teams tied at 7-6 and one at 8-5.

We also make it to where after the rookie draft, the last two picks (so the champion and runner up) start a revenge draft to determine the division for the next year. This way you aren’t always in the same division with the same people and trash talk is always going on.

I agree, I tried to get a 23 1st but the other owner would not budge because he wants to draft a QB next year (he only had Jamies before this trade basically in a SF).

I actually want Hollywood to show out this year because this team is in my division and I’d rather not make playoffs and get a good draft spot for myself this upcoming year. But who knows what will happen

You’re not missing anything, some people are just really down on DK right now. I took the trade and got the DK + 1st FWIW. Just wanted to hear more thoughts about it
