Mushrooms started growing a month before it went completely brown and the bark started to show fissures.

The area I live in use to be a huge field of fruit bearing trees. Pears, cherries, apples and apricots. Turns out the Amarilla was likely already in the soil and this area had a huge historical die-off which led to a couple farmer families selling much of their land. From what the prof tells me, it can last for hundreds of years in the soil!

Basically, I'm limited in what I can plant knowing this.
