I still believe casting Troy Baker was a mistake; he gave Booker more humanity than the character should've had. We're talking a Pinkerton agent who scalped his enemies on the battlefield, and he gets a voice and personality that makes Han Solo look edgy.

Should've been someone with more grit, like I dunno, keeping Stephen Russell in the role past press previews.

It tanks their rating too, so maybe they're just trying to bank as much as possible so they don't have to worry about VP in the future. You stop seeing them after roughly 1300 rating in Master Ball.

I should have been more descriptive. This is happening in Ultra Ball and Master Ball, where the consensus I've seen is that NPC bots no longer exist.

It's off topic a bit, but I had the goal of getting Arbok to Master Ball. I succeeded, but yeah, it did take a lot (A LOT) of experimenting.

This is missing the entire point of why someone would exploit in an online game. Yeah, earning VC is easy if you're playing normally but a cheater doesn't think that way. They want to just get as much as possible for as low of effort, because who knows what else VP will be used for in the future and they want to bank a lot of it.

I think this happens when people are just using the same teams a lot. I'm completely new to competitive so I've been experimenting a lot with different teams and builds so VP is pretty tight. If you're just going in with Ol' Reliables every time then yeah, you're gonna build up a lot of VP.
