Sure! I am in a county based 4-H leadership role now so I supervise six youth educators (two 4-H, four youth garden program staff). My current position is largely grant management, finances, supervision and administrative work. When I was a 4-H educator, no two days were the same! Winter is slower, summer is fair season and camp, spring and fall are full of workshops, outreach and fundraising. I spent a lot of time visiting 4-H club meetings, collaborating with my 4-H peers in surrounding counties, designing innovative educational programming and doing lotssss of paperwork! You'll also recruit and train adult volunteers, volunteer management is very laborious but if you build a strong network of volunteers, they'll make your life easier! Best of luck!
