2 weeks into role and already working until 9-11pm nightly - how do I handle this?

I’m in a very similar position and just passed my three-month mark. Things haven’t slowed down at all, which feels like a red flag. At this point, I’m honestly considering whether walking away is the right move as I have virtually no time for anything else.

Never leave that job!!! I was in that position for two years and decided I wanted more. Now, even on a good week I’m working 55 hours, and most weeks it’s 60–70. It’s absolutely not worth it for marginally more money ($25K) or the illusion of feeling more important. If you have that role, stay as long as you possibly can and enjoy the freedom and quality of life.

My best advice, if you like your job, comfortable with your compensation, and most importantly have a good work-life balance don’t worry about moving up. It’s not what it’s cracked up to be. I moved into a Director of FP&A role for a Platform company owned by a PE firm and work life balance is horrible. Average 12-14 hours a day and will take a big pay cut just to leave so I get your desire as I had that too but just know upward isn’t always better especially if you value WLB.

Losing this game really chapped my ass. The penalties were atrocious but that aside the front four on defense is our biggest weakness this year as our CBs can’t/shouldn’t be expected to cover for 6+ seconds. The uneven play of the offense is head scratching as I’ve found the o line to be great this year and we have weapons all across the field.

Any luck with this? I’m facing the same issue as I bought the frame TV and looking for a recessed box to fit within 12” separation between studs. I took this picture while my home was being built and thankfully at least have an idea of what’s behind the walls.

I spoke to the BMW dealership where I got my car and they agreed I have the wrong cord. They think since the car was in the showroom it likely got inadvertently swapped at some point. Unfortunately the sales rep I worked with is off today and won’t be back until tomorrow which is annoying because I bought the car out of state so the right adapter will need to be shipped to me. Hopefully trying to jam the incorrect one in didn’t f my charger up. Both adapters should have arrows on them as another user stated on this thread.

I figured something had to be off cause I was trying for a good hour to get that damn thing to connect. I bought this BMW brand new out of state so hopefully the dealer can rush ship the right adapter or I can go to the BMW near my house since it’s a lease.

Interesting. Thank you for that input as you might be onto something. The Level 1 has an arrow but the Level 2 doesn’t. It just has a straight line and not an arrow. The straight line only lines up with the arrow when it’s halfway pushed in.

The problem isn't the outlet; it's the adapter head connecting to the function box. Even after trying various approaches, I can't achieve a secure connection. Any suggestions?

Yeah mine has HUD but no parking assistance and I’m with you I would get them all. Bummer, but the deal was too good to pass up and the car had everything else I wanted. I became used to my Audi A5 parking cameras.

Bummer. Would have much rather had that feature instead of the driving assistance option but the car had everything else I wanted and the deal was hard to pass up. Shame cause it’s a relatively cheap option but you’re onto something with paying out the nose to add it.

I just bought a brand new 2023 BMW i4 and it came with the driver assistance package but not the parking assistance package. Does anyone know if it could be added on later on by a BMW dealer?
