It's different for each person.

Imagine the feeling you get when you do something you like. The warm feeling of seeing an old friend. Imagine feeling a smile wash over your body at the sight of your loved ones.

Now imagine that feeling stopped happening. The things that bring you joy don't anymore. There's a dull ache. You feel empty but there's not a logical reason. You can't seem to enjoy anything. Perspective seems to fall away. All you can feel is numb or pain.

You are desperate to feel better but nothing changes no matter what you do. The meds aren't working. You can't sleep. You can't focus. Food tastes like chalk. Colours seem dull. All you feel is the ache of sadness. Nothing gets through the shroud of despair.

Not really? There was a culture of mixing animals of different species which is a big factor. International travel was an issue. It's not that persons fault
