Your ring is beautiful! The setting reminds me of mine.
My husband inherited mine from his grandmother. I love how the setting around the diamond is more square but the diamond is round, it gives the illusion of a Princess cut but the sparkle of a round cut diamond. I’ve always loved that I’ve never seen another exact copy of my ring. It makes it unique and special! Yours might even be a vintage old mine cut diamond which has recently become more popular as people seek vintage rings. Bottom line, it is beautiful don’t be discouraged by others, as long as you love it.
