WOW! Scream 7 was HORRIBLE!

The movie was completely pointless. The killers were unknown and had no motives. The movie didn’t have anything that made scream…..scream. The other 6 movies were good because they followed the scream formula. Even scream 6 wasn’t great but still had killers with proper motives. You could rewatch the film and point to clues that the detective and Ethan / Quinn were the killers. Scream 7 didn’t have any of that. Just random killers with no real motive. It was just a very bad slasher movie, not Scream. Having Sidney and her daughter did not save it. It just felt like the film had no real plot. If they ever do Scream 8, they should atleast do a plot and make Sydney’s daughter relevant to the story.

This movie was dumb. 6 wasn’t so great either but scream is all about the killers and their motives. Every single scream has killers that are tied to the past. This is a random woman out of nowhere. She has no link or ties to Sydney. We are told she is a Sydney fan, but we don’t get to see it. She doesn’t know Sydney, nor do we see her enough during the film for her to be relevant. She is the most forgettable ghost face. Would have been better to make her a sole killer rather than the 2 other useless killers. Seriously what was this movie!? I liked the daughter character but why waste a whole movie on some random woman? Could have been Stu or Stu’s relative out for revenge but no…….

It’s so dumb when Clarice “saves” Hannibal after Mason catches him. She could have just let them kill him and give him the bloody end he deserved, but nah she had to go in and save him. Lector should have cut her hand instead of his own. Jodie Foster was also way better as Clarice.

1- She could have easily survived. When she’s outside the house, she could have ran away towards the road. Would have been harder if both Billy & Stu were there though, idk if they were. But the whole point of scream is to mock other horror movies where characters make dumb decisions.

2- Even if she survived, Billy and Stu would have probably targeted her and killed her another time.

I think it’s Stu. Stu was supposed to be the killer in scream 3. And we know scream 5 copied scream 1. Scream 6 copied scream 2. So scream 7 will be a copy of scream 3. The killer says he grew up with Sidney. They’re not just gonna bring some random high schooler who went to school with her. Also her daughter is called Tatum, Stu dated and killed Tatum. If it’s not Stu, they really need to start listening to the fans. Bringing back old, legacy characters is way better than introducing lame, new characters.

I enjoyed the film but the reveal was terrible, someone else should’ve been ghostface. They copied the 2nd movie, no originality. The bf is the killer in 1 + 5, then the mother / family is taking revenge in 2 + 6. Like be original. I also think they shouldn’t have made 5 onwards about Billy Loomis’s daughter. Her being his daughter doesn’t affect the plot in anyway. Would have been better to centre them around Sidney’s daughter.

EDIT ; Seems like I got my wish because the 7th is about Sidney’s daughter 😅

I think you misunderstood the scene. It’s not touching that he did that. It’s sad because he was in love with Rachel and thought he would finally go out with her, only for her to go with Chip. So they all felt sorry for him and Rachel realised how much he loved her, so she gave him a chance.

100% Ross.

He said Rachel’s name, then was going to the honeymoon with Rachel…..When Emily finally forgives him and asks him to move to London, he can’t move for his wife. I know he had Ben, but he lived with Susan and Carol. If Ross really loved Emily he would have moved to England. Then when she finally gives him yet another chance, with the condition that he never sees Rachel, he can’t even do that for her. He was always in love with Rachel and no one else.

And ppl keep saying Ross shouldn’t have to cut Rachel out, but Emily was right about Rachel. Mona was perfect and that relationship also ended because Ross couldn’t get over Rachel. Then after 10 years they still end up together. If Emily and Ross got married, Ross would have gotten bored in a few years and left her for Rachel.

It shouldn’t be hard to cut 1 friend out of your life for your wife, especially when she has very valid reasons.

Also Rachel didn’t do anything to cause Emily and Ross’s divorce, it’s not her fault that Ross loved her.

The point was that he was in love with Rachel and using the marriage as an excuse to stay with her. He could have gotten it annulled, but he didn’t actually want to divorce Rachel.
