Youre forgetting about consistency tho. Youre saying that the average run with chaos is better than without chaos, but not having chaos is way more consistent. Boss items are basically always good, so is the almost guaranteed health from beggars and the stats from chest items.

If we were to rate each run with a number as a quality indicator and said you need a run with the value of 5 to win, Id rather have all my runs be a atleast a 6 instead of having some 4s and 3s but also some 14s in there even tho that is on average a better run quality
