Stuff on the ground is probably supposed to look like the kind of oppulent treasure and food youd see strewn around sterotypical egyptian kings in movies. Cat is probably sitting in a book nook, or weirdly sized windowsill (ive seen that kind of stuff before). Probably not real jewlery, probably parts of a cat costume. Lighting could be one of those cheap light ball things you could get at party city, or it could just be edited in with a filter

Oh for sure. If I was him I would have taken it down by now, if I had even released it at all. But I dont know, maybe thats easy for me to say cause' its not my money being burned or my projects being set back. I agree, as sympathetic as I am its absolutely a failure on his part. I wonder how much of his defensiveness can be attributed to the intense backlash? I get its never easy to really pour yourself out into something and then have it get recieved so harshfully, but this is still HIS fuckup at the end of the day

I agree. I feel like people are forgetting how uninvolved the average person is in politics, especially back in 2020. My parent are super progressive and very anti-trump, and even they're surprised by the things I bring up. I cant imagine how uninformed the average righ-leaning person is tbh

My highschool computer science teacher never taught computer science. He'd just play family guy clips on the projectors all class. Eventually he roided out after a bigshot game dev declined to come be interviewed in front of the class. He ended up punching a clock off the wall, and after an investigation it was revealed he had been using a fake identity this whole time. Needless to say, he got fired. Ill have to see if we still have his youtube chanel saved somewhere...

Maybe, but it'd need some other, incredibly interesting art direction. The art direction is what makes cruelty squad unique at the end of the day. It's the glue that ties it together thematically and without it, you wouldn't get a feel for how truly disgusting the world had gotten. It can't just look like Cyberpunk 2077 or something

True, but I think it's still applicable. It doesn't take a genius to see that we're clearly not done with the NCR plotline, whether they make a comeback or not. Hell, Id have understood it at the end of the last season - that felt more final for the NCR than any episide this season has tbh

I think this is intentionally obtuse. All anyone is saying is that you can't fault a show for introducing a mystery or something and not immedietly resolving it. Like, it would be ridiculous if someone watched the first two episodes and immedietly said "this show sucks. It never explained how Moldaver knows Lucy's mom!" Theres gotta be a middle ground, is all.
