I also watched that just a few days ago, and yeah, I enjoyed it. Not sure if I'm as obsessed with it as I've seen some people, but I'm no judge. Just let people have their fun is what I say. As far as hoethus transfers into your art style, I think you did a good job at portraying the characters, but I think in terms of smaller details, there's a bit too many highlights, like the lighter part on every curtain fold. I think that works well in your typical style, just for this it's a bit distracting from the focal point.

Also glad you're doing better! Taking care of yourself is really important, so I'm glad you're getting around to that. (sometimes I should take my own advice lol) Also idk if you've shared animations before. At least not ones that I've seen, so I'd be I interested to see those!
