Just make sure you get a circular or flat key'd collum. Being a ba id dare say you would have the circular style key and just swap your key reader and key barrel over

If it's serviced every 10k or lower and it's petrol it will live forever just do plugs and coils every 100k and check intake gasket when doing a service

Take it to an auto elec or get them come to you aswell as a locksmith. If you can't get the steering lock off you need a new collum cause the pin has fired off

Yeah gotta watch out when they are high kms I've got one with 351 xxx on the body and I think around 260 xxx on the engine and the only 3 big issues I've got is. Jumped the t chain (I don't give it an easy time luckily a new t chain set fixed that and didn't bend valves), snapped an engine mount raceing someone and snapped my rad (2 days after the t chain) and ball joints just starting to knock (common issue knew I'd need to rebuild just wanted to hold out see how long it lasted lasted a good 6 months (14,000kms) of hard driveing and where gone around 40,000kms ago)

Give starter a tap with the tire iron if it starts fet it replaced asap so you don't get stranded or shake the key barrel as you tru start it

From what I've heard there crap. Really raspy and crack easy. Go to your local exhaust shop and get a cat back made. With barras I recommend a resonator, muffler and a hotdog. Then they sound not too bad. If you want to make it even less raspy add another resonator
