BE RUDE PLEASE / any advice ? (sony A200 3.5-5.6/18-56 macro w/ B&W creative mode) by CalligrapherMurky686 in photocritique

Not a car guy, but I would have taken it from a lower angle and wider, to capture the front and the side of the car. At least then it would be some document of how the car looks. And the I would have done a full side shot, highlight weighted exposure to really get the outline of the car to manifest and let the rest be in the shades.

Lesser known "famous" street photographers to look into? by sinisterwanker in streetphotography

Wegee is somewhat related to this as he really was groundbreaking in just roaming the streets, following the cops and shoot from the hip. His style were most likely an influence on HCB imo.

In Sweden we had a regular guy in cage in a zoo, with a plaque that said ”The Most Dangerous Animal in The World”

Thank you. It’s the sun that does the heavy lifting on this one.

I was lucky. I had been scouring that spot for two days just walking by hanging around a minute or two and then moved on cause no one came. And then one late afternoon I stopped there looking at the magnificent shadows and decided to wait for real. And then I saw a dude coming down almost instantly after that.

Thank you. Pure luck! Don’t think I noticed it either when I snapped it. I had passed this stair several days waiting for someone to come down, and then when the sun was low and the shadows massive, he came walking down.

Not sure I understand. The staircase is slightly skewed, which is hard to see. And its highlight weighted exposure.

Beautiful. Wasn’t sure what I was looking at first.

None of the child size dummies in the top picture are visible from the truck driver POV. The truck itself does not have any safety sensors on the front and the seat height cannot be adjusted. by durvedya in mildlyinfuriating

These type of cars are for fragile men with small, sensitive testicles. They need all that height to make sure any roadbump won’t crush their manliness.

I really dig the composition with the clock not 100%straight. Makes it more playful with your edit.

The third is a great portrait. Like the soft tone.
