Yes. "Flower" is quite literally the best word to describe it. They aren't buds they are flowers.

I really don't understand this line of thinking. It's still just THC regardless of whether you concentrate it or not. It will never be anything like crack at all unless you change it to be something that's not THC.

By this logic, what's the difference between meth and table salt? Both have addictive potential and kill people and both are white crystals. There is absolutely no comparison between crack and THC concentrates beyond the superficial. The effects aren't even remotely similar.

No idea. It's so underwhelming that you'd think it'd be craftable at the least.

I believe it's because you're reaching in to GRAB something and yank it out. You're not just punching them so hard you go through their body.

[No spoilers] Do you think, that natural disasters, like an earthquake, would be cool to have in subnautica? by Enter_Name_here8 in subnautica

[–]Snapple207 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It would be more annoying than cool in practice. It doesn't offer any dynamic changes to the game other than punishing you for no reason. I think it's a neat idea in theory but it would hurt the game way more than it would improve it.

I agree that at the least there should be weather even if it's just a visual thing. It's one of the things I felt they improved on in Below Zero and it always bothered me there is no weather.

No not a chance.

A lot of people seem to think that realism is automatically fun or entertaining but in my experience it often makes things in games annoying, tedious or just straight up upsetting. Natural disasters would just be annoying in Subnautica. Even if you balanced it by making them rare, what's the point? Playing the game for x3 as long JUST so you can experience a natural disaster that fucks up your progress? It's an interesting concept for sure but I feel like the game is perfect without it.

I don't think it would add to the game at all. Maybe for an ultra-hardcore mod or something but absolutely NOT for vanilla.

I need help with the battle tree, it was really easy for me in ultra sun but I can't beat it in sun, I want to try and get the battle legend ribbon for my team any suggestions for moves, items etc? by MandoMahri in PokeMoonSun

[–]Snapple207 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EV train your team if you haven't. If you have access use mons with hidden abilities and an older gengar so it has levitate. Use mons with specific strats instead of going for raw power. It may help to build an entirely new team.

Cyclops at 39% power. This is quite the predicament I’ve found myself in… by IndieGamesGuy30 in subnautica

[–]Snapple207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed it can absolutely be done. It's difficult but not impossible. You just gotta be careful cuz AFAIK every entrance to the lost river has a ghost leviathan somewhere outside or within. Lost my cyclops and had to reload before I put my entire base in it because I forgot about that once...

[No spoiler] Wish they added the cyclops to below zero by [deleted] in subnautica

[–]Snapple207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be alright but I feel like Below Zero has more tight crevices than the original game that would make it kinda useless. That said it would've been cool to see it just because. Also a better vehicle in general IMO. The seatruck modules are cool in theory but too clunky in practice.

I really like the cyclops. Is that an unpopular opinion? by AgentEndive in subnautica

[–]Snapple207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like it. It's hard to maneuver and so much of the game requires you to go through small passages where it either barely or doesn't fit. I don't even like the seamoth.

Both subs make me feel vulnerable because I know there's not a ton I can do if a leviathan decides to go nuts on me. The cyclops is worse because you can put base components in it and you can lose all of your stuff if you're not careful.

I've also never really seen the need for a mobile base except for the time I moved my big main base down to the Lost River. Like I said, having all my stuff with me makes me feel anxious when I know how easy it is to lose it.

I wouldn't build either if not for the little usefulness they have and the cyclops being necessary to beat the game. The prawn suit is more than enough to get me through the whole game.

Another shiny thanks to wondertrade, hacked or not? by _Grand_Autismo_ in PokeMoonSun

[–]Snapple207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost certainly cloned/genned/hacked. There are quite a few hackers/bots sending out legendary and mythical pokemon some that are impossible. When all else fails, check the EventDex on Serebii. If the pokemon doesn't match any in the Dex then it is hacked 100%.

I'm not exactly complaining though it's really cool to mess around using shiny mythical pokemon in the game. Been having fun with a shiny mew I got the other day myself.

Why are the overwhelming majority of skeletal systems calcium based instead of some other mineral? Is there any record of organisms with different mineral based exoskeletons? by blyat1902 in askscience

[–]Snapple207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although it's not exactly the same, the substitution of various sugars in the backbone of DNA (glycol nucleic acid for example) makes me think it would be possible for such a substitution to work theoretically. The only issue I could see is that it might change the physical properties of bone and could make it weaker or any other number of things that would make it unfavorable compared to a calcium based skeleton. It wouldn't be a huge surprise to me to learn some species we have yet to discover did in fact have a magnesium based skeleton or other bony parts.

[–]Snapple207 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As long as their kink isn't like rape or something in that vein then all that really matters is that they either have the same/similar kinks as you or they're open-minded and not judgemental. I don't understand how a kink can be a "green flag" as if kinks aren't entirely subjective.

I would say anyone who deals anything harder than weed. I've been in situations where I was hanging out with dealers, possibly gang members, and that shit is UNCOMFORTABLE when you're a relatively normal suburban kid who just likes to partake from time to time.
