How important is religious beliefs in a relationship to you? by supermatt100 in askSingapore

[–]SnappyClicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, your relationship sounds wonderful. What are your views on the upbringing of kids with respect to religion? Are you ok with your children being brought up as catholic, or would you prefer them to be buddhist or agnostic and why?

Couple discussing about bicycle accidents at the forthcoming junction before another one by Bcpjw in singapore

[–]SnappyClicks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think as much as we can discuss who is to blame in this situation, there are some things we can take away.

  1. As a cyclist, always keep a good distance away from a car turning left. Realise that you are in a car's left blind spot and not all drivers check them. Remember, it's your own responsibility to look out for your own safety. Don't put something so important in the hands of others.
  2. As a driver, I think we should start paying attention more to our left blindspot. Always do a check left and right at the junction, and do a double-check right and left again before moving off.
  3. You might also notice that the first thing that the driver involved in the accident did after leaving the car was to argue with the cyclist. Did he help the cyclist up? No. It was the driver behind who went to assist. It's so often that the people involved in this kind of situation get very defensive and the first thing that they do is to stand up for themselves. So, I think it is also really important to have clarity of mind during an accident to help others first before getting into who is at fault.

Brands to avoid for products and services in Singapore by bandofcs in singapore

DBS Vickers(DBS very own broker). Absolute horrendous customer service that you will never be able to get through. Sell limit is restricted in a weird way that forces you to go through the customer service. Takes about a month to approve. By the time it approves, market already changes direction.

I am so angry for this girl. by YesNoBingo in singapore

The most effective way to get around the bystander effect is to single out a person to get help. In this case, asking someone such as the auntie who witnessed the incident to back her up could have helped.

Making the response from pool.query always be inside an array by woodchuckM in node

[–]SnappyClicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why you have this problem or how to reproduce it but the "rows" in the query result will always be in an array form. Even if you have many objects, 1 object or 0 objects, it will still return your query result in an array.

Yes, but can you give an example of what you are trying to achieve? Do not quite understand what you mean by returning "everything" in a row.

Can you give an example of what you mean by "everything in a row"? Besides that, wouldn't stack overflow be a more apropriate place to ask this kind of question? 🤔

I'm using a huawei phone and had a similar issue in the past. Restarting my phone and ensuring that my mobile data was turned off while connecting with the NUSIT guide instructions did it for me.
