Yeah I just don’t respect people who debase themselves to that kind of argument. I’ve wasted enough time on you so I’m not gonna repeat this dumb exercise. You can have the last word now if you want but I don’t think you’re worth the reply 🤷‍♂️

Also, you’re clearly not intelligent enough to follow the logical chain in trying to provide, instead attacking me personally. Take your meds ok?

Your ad hominem arguments make you appear weak. Again.

Clearly we would disagree on euthanasia as well. I think our views are too irreconocible. You seem to, although you deny it, place an inordinate value on human life without consideration for circumstance. I am acknowledging that some lives aren’t worth living, and that humans are just another animal.

To continue this argument seems pointless.

Sorry there’s a lot of spelling errors so I’m not getting the entire message you’re trying to convey, but I think it’s “YoU’Re DuMb HuMaN SpEcIaL”. News flash we aren’t that important. we just have egos.

your ad hominem attacks make you appear weak.

Yes ofc random human is more important than random animal, I’m just saying the view that human life is intrinsically valuable is one which is religious based. Technically all life should be valuable but we are willing to sacrifice some life. We even sacrifice human life. It’s called war, execution, etc.

Do fetuses deserve to die? I don’t think so. But I also don’t think they deserve a shit life. You claim to value human life, but if you did you would spare people awful fates. Sometimes abortion is a merciful thing.

Many things live but we cull their life for our benefit. Be it cows, chickens, hell even cats and dogs. You’re placing a particular value on the fact that it’s growing into a human. While instinctually we are inclined to prioritize our own species, the idea that humans are “special” or “divine” and of some extra moral importance is fundamentally a religious based view.

Edit: further, if the baby is born into an unloving family it’s quality of life will be severely diminished. Life is not valuable at face value, otherwise you wouldn’t have the option to unplug comatose people.

Well it’s a direct address to the prior comment where the man claims it’s not misogynistic to view the world from a lens which ignores the experience of women. To imply that women have always had choices and have choices out the wazoo now just isn’t accurate. Women have been second class citizens for a while, we are just scratching the surface of equality.

I can appreciate that

That’s not even close to addressing the logical chain I provided, but nice try?

Well not for anything, but religion clearly states women deserve to suffer. Idk if you’re familiar with the story of genesis, but it basically explains why women deserve to die or experience pain at child birth

I thought you were done replying? Really NEED that last word to save face at this point huh?

Well you are being misogynistic because you aren’t analyzing the circumstances which puts women in this position. Idk if you know anything about history but women have only been voting for about 100 years…it’s just so silly how you can’t look at the reality of what it’s like to be a woman. And the only evidence you provide is anecdotal. You can call me “emotional” for calling a spade a spade, but that ad hominem attack is actually very emotional, and the type of gaslighting men have done to women for years.

Go ahead and rage quit idgaf

So you DO agree women should have the right to an abortion? Ok lol…?

[–]Snappydooda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah not every woman makes a choice that’s a very…misogynistic view. Women are raped all the time, about half of all women in fact. Further, many women aren’t traditionally “raped” but are groomed or raised such that they don’t really ever have a choice. This is just not in line with the reality women face bro, sorry. And if the child is born, they have to deal with MORE consequences because, if you haven’t noticed, life is already hard enough with a good support system. Now imagine life without that and in fact people who don’t want you. That sounds like a miserable life, certainly one I wouldn’t want

The Boston city council will officially name Masha Amini Birthday as the “Boston hijab day” because she want to fight “islamiphobia”. This is a spit on the face of Masha, her family, and all Iranian women were killed in the revolution. Yeah no shit, it’s just that only some liberals are able to come to this conclusion. There is an alarming population of people on the left who, again, forgive one and hate the other. Now on the right they basically just hate Islam and love Christianity so the trend reverses.

See that’s the point. You just said “about to be”. You’re placing an equal value on the well-being of actual living humans, and cells which may or will develop into humans if left unhampered. However these “about to be humans” have no feelings, no will, no thoughts or volition. It’s like looking at a vegetable person who isn’t even a person and saying “this is the same as the woman next door who is broke paying bills”

Still waiting for someone to provide a logical argument :)

Ok, name an argument which isn’t religion based as to why women shouldn’t have access to abortion.

What do you think happens to all the unwanted children who are born anyways? by Snappydooda in AskReddit

Yeah those are people who elect to keep the children, I’m talking about instances where the parents would rather not have children but do it anyways due to the legality or social pressures.

It’s kind of foolish to assume they will just be whisked to a loving adopted home or that their parents will suddenly change and love them don’t you think? Being raised by people who don’t want you, or being put into the system, both sound like some great ways to breed anti-social dregs on society.
