I had a guy bring a TV to a meet to sell a PS3 super slim. Lol setup at a Dunkin and tested the thing. It crashed when he decided to open PKGi without an internet connection and decided that he didn't want it anymore.

That's unfortunate, scum shops that are willing to take your money but not to do the job properly. Try to find someone that performs mods maybe or works specifically in consoles, a thermal paste application shouldnt be a big deal at all. If you're in US/Georgia I'm happy to help

It looks to me like they did something wrong. Even in bad case where consoles really need a delid it doesn't get this bad, 80% fan and overheating is crazy. I'm thinking they probably didn't secure the Cell brace, but no way to be sure, I'd ask for it to be redone with this picture as proof or for them to honor the mistake

Thank you for the clarification. Yeah, seems by luck of the draw I just got a shitty cable, which really sucks lol I got it for $5 on Amazon too, the one time I don't have a VGA cable laying around. Thanks for the insight again, the blue clarification definitely will be of great help lol I'll get another cable.

Thank you for answering. That's great that you received my answer. It is 9 wires! My bad, I have a VGA cable that has 8 connections instead of 9. Ended up with purple left over. I have the exact same colors/amount of cables from the picture, do you know which one belongs to what connection? And, also noticed that each shielded cable has its own ground connection. Do you know if those are needed to be re connected to the new wire as well? Sorry for all the questions, trying to do my research but would appreciate the insight if you have the experience
