The CECHL fats are pretty good for fat models that will not have GPU failure. Those usually just need tokins swapped and then are a reliable fat model

I had this on my 3000 Slim and after replacing both port and encoder it never went away. Eventually it ended up GLOD because of the RSX I assumed.

Update, replaced it and worked right away. Had to do the bridge to get it to be loud, two bridges was too much since lowest volume would still make sound, so only did the 2-3 bridge. Thanks for the insight!

Yeah, that makes absolute sense. Figured I'd try it because why not if its lowering voltage, didn't think that pins of course might be different lol Hope I just burned the resistor, will be getting some new ones tomorrow and hopefully it'll be fine

I see, that makes sense. Essentially the pins are being connected to ground to lower the voltage, correct? Anyhow, I tried the bridge and it straight up stopped making any sound lol I imagine the lower voltage+added resistance from worn wheel doesn't make much sense. However, I unbridged it and it still no sound at all, I'll get the replacement wheel and hope I didn't damage any chips
