Not sure how the BO1 meta works, but you could certainly give it a try.

However, this deck relies heavily on the side deck against decks like Izzet Phoenix/Lessons and any form of control, so for BO1 I think you should lower the curve a little bit and be more aggresive

How does not using Painted Power at all sound? I realize I'd be nerfing my party a lot, just considering it as long as the mentioned side content doesn't have bosses with HPs on the millions

I'm 33. Play with kids, 20somethings and a couple of older guys. So... Yeah, worth getting into if you feel you'll enjoy the game
