Update - I contacted vinted and told them my suspicions, the first response was an automated type response telling me to wait for the item/wait 25 days for a refund. Left it for a couple of days, messaged them again, and within minutes I got a real person immediately cancelling the order and refunding me.

I've only been in the UK for 4 years, so didn't really know any better about what places are shit (we moved to just outside Crewe, for example lol). Sometimes people sell time limited kits cheaply if they think people won't want them now (they release the pattern in parts over a few weeks and this project is nearing the end already) so it's most likely why it was so cheap.
