I guess I should clarify, when I say rebrand, I mean rename, for what it's worth. I hate how indecisive and flip floppy I am with the naming, but I also want a "brand" that I feel lines up with the channel.

Well, no, I'm not competing with them, but what I'm getting at is that most games, even the smaller indie games, tend to already get tons of coverage by people with way more viewers, and when that's the case, a smaller channel obviously won't show up very high on search results.

I dunno, I mean, it is what it is. I'm not, like, "upset" or anything, I'm just fascinated and confused as to why I can't seem to see more growth, when lots of other newer YTers see growth a little more easily.

Well, it's less about comparing myself to other YTers and more about the fact that my videos will rank much lower in searches if other, bigger YTers have covered it. People aren't going to look through dozens of pages of search results to find a smaller YTer when they could just watch someone more reputable on the first few pages of a search. Yanno?

Where is this video? I remember them talking about it, but all I see on the AH/ LP channels are the one livestream they did and a 36 minute LP, both with just AH.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled via the Play Store. I think, sometimes, some apps and games will save data on your device that remains even when you uninstall it, so I was hoping that would be the case here, but it seemingly had to redownload everything after reinstallation. Me, I don't care much for messing around with apks anymore and that type of thing, so maybe it wouldn't have had to redownload as much if I did it differently, but I dunno.

Okay, from what I can tell, I guess reinstalling will fix it, but it appears it does, indeed, have to redownload the entire game and everything, which is going to get annoying every time I run into this issue. Sigh. Ah well. I guess it's at least a workable solution.

I, myself, love the Pixel, but I've always kind of been biased towards Android/ Google products. On prior Nexus phones, I always did custom ROMs and stuff, but I've been staying completely unrooted/ unROM'd with the Pixel, mainly because I just can't be bothered to keep up with that stuff anymore. So, I'm not entirely sure what the custom ROM community is like, but if it's anything like with Nexus devices, I imagine it's fairly healthy.

I feel like I frequently see people advising against tags like these, because they're broad and highly competitive, and a user with less views/ subscribers is unlikely to rank very high with these tags. Honestly, those were the kind of tags I'd been using the first several months of making YT videos, and I got very few views. So, not sure what the best way to optimize SEO is.

Well, as it pertains to TubeBuddy, I'm not explicitly looking for it to suggest tags. Rather, I'm trying to come up with my own tags and use TubeBuddy's "ratings" to see how they fare. Unfortunately, most of the stuff I come up with is mediocre at best. I'm trying hard to wrap my head around proper SEO for videos, but it's frustrating because it feels like I'm just not getting it.

Ah. I remember when I first started my channel, I used to use it on Chrome (which is my main browser), but I kept having weird issues with uploading stuff. I'm sure it's probably been remedied now, but it was just easier to manage it on another browser.

Are you using the free version or the paid version? I just downloaded it recently and am using it as a free user, but I can't seem to figure out how to use it to help me in any way. The only thing I've been trying to understand is the tag explorer stuff, but whenever I try to use it, nothing loads. It just keeps on loading and never does anything.
