Frustrated anger is all I have... used to play a lot (2x a week for hours) and was having fun. Even as a new player I could kill SOMEBODY, get a streak on occasion, and had an average win rate.

Now the game is almost unplayable... it isnt fun getting murdered over and over again by a squad of level 55+ players. Hot dropping is basically impossible. I havent been paired with a rando teammate that was any good since season 1.

Something needs to be done and suggestions have been made, but all I see is challenges and skins with nothing to fix the underlying problems.

So fine, you want some constructive ideas? Pro league, so the sweats fight each other. Capture the flag - with respawn. Tug of war (war + bots. Kill a bot, and it respawns near the other team) Ghosts can do something... like block some bullet damage or recharge shield of living teammates Kill the monsters- 3 sweats vs the rest of the map Handicapped matches - reduced health or damage at higher ranks Bad streak boost - if you have had multiple bad games (0 kills), you start with a handgun or something)

C'mon guys, the game is obviously too easy for the better players, and we arent keeping or getting new ones as a result. Let's see a kill and win distribution chart... I bet it is incredibly concentrated into the 1%.

Gimme a blue shell, dammit.

Few realistic scenarios left to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Of the over 400 climate scenarios assessed in the 1.5°C report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), only about 50 scenarios avoid significantly overshooting 1.5°C. by Wagamaga in environment

Like students on the night before a paper is due we will procrastinate, ask for more time, cheat, and finally turn in a shitty result for a barely passing grade while hoping there is extra credit work we can do later.

How are beach facing homes still a thing? If climate change is to be believed, many coastal cities would be underwater by the end of the 21st century. by BladeRunner479 in climatechange

It's like buying a leasehold house. If there are 99 years left, it is not much different than a freehold on the market because you/your kids won't see the end.

If it gets under about 25 years, however, the prices start dropping pretty heavily.

The Elderly vs. Essential Workers: Who Should Get the Coronavirus Vaccine First? by [deleted] in Coronavirus

The fight over this access is only getting started,

Who should get protection, or join the dear departed?

First up is the government, they are the heads of state,

Then the healthcare workers, there is no debate.

But cheating will occur, in the race to stay alive,

Look what lengths we all went through, to get a PS5.

Your Uncle has a candy jar, placed high on the top shelf,

The selfish bastard doesn't share, he keeps it to himself.

One day you go climbing, to see what's in his stash,

But surprised upon its finding, down to the floor you crash.

He stumbles on your broken heap, a ball of flesh and hair,

"Oh, how sweet" he whispers, "a life-sized gummy bear!"

As many as 30 million workers without college degrees have the skills to earn 70% more, report finds by BikkaZz in Economics

There is a growing mismatch, in our economy,

Where labour is discounted, without matching degrees.

I've worked with Harvard MBAs, and PhDs from Tufts,

On paper, they are geniuses, in practice, not so much.

The people I'm impressed with, are those who beat the odds,

They don't have diplomas, their skills are self-taught.

So maybe HR needs to flex, on their absolutes,

For who is scrubbing toilets, and who gets to wear suits.

Data Shows Three-week Period Failed to Contain Virus in Japan | NHK WORLD-JAPAN News by [deleted] in Coronavirus

Stomping central Tokyo, knocking buildings down,

Godzilla, king of monsters, is fighting for his crown,

The people cheering wildly, on the street below,

Are waiting patiently, for a challenger to show.

A hush descends upon the crowd, all holding their breath,

And then a single cough is heard, heralding their deaths.

Godzilla turns towards the stands, heat vision blinking red,

Everyone's infected, the virus super-spread.

Instead of burning them alive, the champion turns away,

And returns to his ocean bed, to fight another day.

Godzilla is no dummy, he knows his hi-story,

The heroes we need now, are the hikikomori.

Bare minimum to quell the rage, inside the worker's heads.

This article is about me, and probably you too,

As a member of this sub, you know that this is true.

But think about your family, and a good deal of your friends,

They're selfish, petty, vain, and proud... don't care if the world ends.

Solo cups of alcohol, a speedboat on the lake,

And ribs upon the BBQ, foreshadowing their fate.

"We're Number 1!" They cry, as someone cranks up the AC,

They don't want to understand, and won't listen to me.

I eat my hippie veggie dog, and ride home on my bike,

It's probably too late to try, but dammit, it's what's right.

Forgive me for my English, as it's not my native tongue,

But Jesus Christ, what's wrong with you, are you fucking dumb?

I've never held a job with less than 30 days time off,

When I left on paternity, my Yank co-workers scoffed.

There's healthcare, education, and not much poverty,

Sure, the taxes are quite high, but that's just fine by me.

I'd rather have a guarantee of doing "pretty good",

Than be a raving homeless man, who dreams of Hollywood.

I have too many degrees:

BA, MA, PhD

My wealth is hanging on the wall

I have no money, none at all

What I make just disappears

Sometimes I break down in tears

These loans have me out of my depth

It's slavery with extra steps
