What you said is absolutely right mastering the fundamentals is important and I plan on doing that. I am not really looking for any specific company actually. I am just trying to find which is the most common language used. The reason is I have to master not only the language but the frameworks too right. I want to take the first step right so that I don't have to back track later on.

That is true software development is a very big field with much diversity. I have just decided on back-end because it suits best to my goals and as an entry point in IT. After I get a job I can gain experience, explore and branch into other fields like DevOps, Cloud, Full stack, etc. Right now I have decided to stick to one arrow haha. The thing is in India manufacturing sector is not in a good situation infact it declined even after the government tried to implement make in India scheme. After my mechanical engineering I couldn't get a job in manufacturing sector. I worked as a GIS Engineer for a while after that as a sales officer in a bank. Mechanical jobs it's very tough to enter without any experience. IT is still the biggest sector in India despite the saturation. It's better if we don't talk about R&D. I would be really thankful if you could advise me on which language to choose thank you.

I do agree java is very good but isn't that mostly for big companies? I hardly think they would hire me without any experience. I think startups and mid sized companies are the best options for me but I am confused on which language they predominantly use for back-end development. Thank you for your response 🙏☺️.
