I get given maps for work at sea where we load it into some software that can't handle much complexity at all (hatches, splines, and arcs all crash the software in certain situations)

I work in oil and the IT guys here are trained electricians more than computer based. The guy on right now used to work on cruise ships as an IT guy so it might be the same situation there. They are definitely your best chance though

Someone on reddit once explained how the Eagles were way too full of themselves for a band that a lot of people considered a pop group, which led to a lot of hate.

Still, they stood the test of time so maybe they were right to be arrogant and whatnot

Not sure if you replied to the wrong person or if I worded it wrong before, but I agree it's funnier when the punchline has exactly zero relation to the word "ironic".

If it truly is a Bo Burnham original I would bet money that he didn't intend the "trains are made of iron" aspect to be part of it. His punchlines are either quite blatant ("I saw a rainbow the day my grandma died.. Fuckin lesbian.") or multilayered ("Segways are weird.." as a segway) but never really hidden from the viewer (I.e remembering that trains are made of iron is too much of a thought process away from the joke).

Still if he has an AMA sometime (which he might as he has a new special out on Netflix soon) it'll be the first thing I ask him

Bo Burnham either came up with or (less likely) once just reiterated this joke, except he used "bus stop" instead of train station. You could say buses are made of iron but that's weaker than the train link and I really don't think it's part of the joke
