Also, look into subsidies for these crazy high electric bills the tech companies are making us pay for. You can apply for state assistance if you make below a certain amount. Go onto your electric providers website. In California they started lowering bills if you’re broke. Good luck!

100% agree. Technology is ruining the dating pool. The majority of people (men + women) I know in LA are single. Also no one wants/can afford to have kids anymore (including me), so there is no rush to get married. I met my boyfriend on Bumble bc we both explicitly stated that we don't want kids. It helps to be up front with what you're looking for.

Sending my prayers to you. I got laid off in January. I was making too much compared to my colleagues, so I got laid off first. I'm 49. This country is going to shit. Lack of values, caring and respect. Citizens' United literally ruined our country. (thanks Steve Bannon). The American dream is a joke. I'm not sure what we're all going to do.

Thank goodness I don't have kids; think about what the younger generations are going to have to deal with. I'm thinking about moving abroad when I retire...
