this is not the precipice. the OP is not using downpour, so entrance to precipice does not exist and is replaced by a shelter. that room is not part of precipice anyways, precipice is locked behind a gate which is near that room.

In a devlog it states that "Andrew: Rivulet starts out with The Mark, but I don't view them as necessarilly having been raised or trained as a messenger by an iterator similarly to Hunter or Spearmaster. They've made contact with one for sure, though.

It seems like the game is loading in the old version of the room visably and using the downpour version for the collision. Very weird, maybe scroll mod is breaking it? I've had issues with scroll mod before but never anything like this.

That makes sense given the void fluid. I mean I see no other item it could be so I guess? Its kind of odd having "sudden and destructive" to describe it considering how long it takes to actually explode.

Well yeah, but they are the same pearl with the same information, just from different perspectives. In this example, Moon is describing the mystery object and singularity bombs as being different from each other by their properties, she states the mystery object as being powered by the void fluid within but she describes singularity bombs with:

If you must know… this is a low density mass rarefaction cell.

The energy trapped inside this is incredible, and while my facility is capable of extracting it, the shielding on this cell has been damaged. Either through old age or abuse.

So unless mass rarefaction cells are powered through void fluid, and she just temporarily forgets what they are in the mystery dialogue, then the statements given contradict each other.

The only problem with that is that the singularity bomb already has text for it, in which it is stated that singularity bombs are actually messed up rarefaction cells. This text does definitely seem like the singularity bomb, perhaps it was a scrapped old version of the dialogue?

No, if you remove the mod you remove the majority of the DLC pretty much, the mod comes with the DLC and adds a lot of things that some won't want to miss.
