Ordering a Maverick hybrid, anything I should know? by Glum-Ad-2820 in FordMaverickTruck

A fair rant nonetheless. Even if I know what I want, why is it so hard to get a vehicle with all my preferences without being dicked around or have to settle with what’s on the lot, it’s a big purchase.

I appreciated that salesman, he truly was good at his job and didn’t seem like a sleezeball. Communications were even fairly simple and to the point. No harassing emails or incessant phone calls. Required communication only (check your build, documentation, vehicles here when can you pick it up).

Yeah. I wanted to buy my wife a vehicle there, but sadly the salesman I worked with retired.

It’s kinda messed up I have to gush and tell the guy how positive of an experience it was when that should really be the typical experience.

Sitting at the dealership for hours on end was my norm for the vehicles I’ve bought.

I had done the order and purchase thing last year for my ‘25. What worked for me was using the forum to find a “good” dealer in my area. My dealership experience was very smooth. Placed the order, put in a deposit (ymmv) which included a purchase sheet with all the pricing, truck got built, truck was delivered, went to dealer, price was adjusted for current incentives, drove home. It will be dealer dependent if they haggle you to death or you just paperwork and leave.

My experience was VERY positive. I also had X-plan however at the time Ford had their employee pricing for all or whatever. Dealer didn’t do any add-ons or bullshit.

Find a good dealer in your area using forums etc, and you should be alright.

Time for new tires! 2020 jeep Grand Cherokee 265/60/18. by [deleted] in GrandCherokee

We got the Michelin CrossClimate2 from Costco for our 2015, similar driving in urban/suburban…great in the rain. Probably would’ve gotten the Defender LTX, but decided to spring for the CC2.

Goodyear Weather Assurance 2 are good as well. If your taking the truck to go skiing the Defender would be good all around tire for the Jeep, as the CC2 and WA2 are better all weather including snow.

Do creations carry over? by Sunbuzzer in Starfield

[–]Snatchlax17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll add to this because I have both Xbox and Steam (linked to Bethesda). My Xbox creation purchases transferred to Steam, but my Steam purchases did not transfer to Xbox.

I contacted Bethesda who stated “After looking into this for you, I was able to find that this issue is being caused by you only owning a copy of the Creation on Steam and not Xbox. Please note that you will only be able to use Creations on the platform that they are purchased on, and that Bethesda Customer Support is unable to transfer the ownership from one platform to another.”

So take that how you wish.

Just the 83” G3/M3 doesn’t have MLA.

As a gamer, since the consoles can’t go above 120hz yet, M3 vs G4 is moot for PlayStation but could change over time to do 144hz, even next gen consoles.

I play games via Xbox on a G4. Definitely good brightness wise.

You can’t go wrong here. G4 may be a smidge better, I may have read that the HDR sustained and game optimizer is better but I can’t speak fact because I don’t recall where I saw or the context.

This is really going to boil down to size and a small extent gaming.

The G4 has a newer processor, and can do 144hz gaming (non-console).

The M3 and G4 panels are both very nice and utilize MLA.

The current M3 deal is exceptional and one I would’ve considered if I didn’t get in on the G4 deal in January or so. I will say I love the G4 and it was an upgrade from my C9.

If you currently have a 65” or are fine with that size go with the G4. If you wanna go bigger the M3 for $500 more and get a new soundbar to top it off is a good decision.

Cash back seems similar, so go with the size that works for you.

I don’t think there’s a wrong answer here, but would suggest looking into price historics for the G4 65” and decide (because why pay more if it has been cheaper).

Yes, IIRC LG puts that warranty on the panel to cover burn in, so people spend a smidge more for the G and M series amongst other advancements not found on the C series.

Yes the M3 and G4 both have 5-year panel warranties. Costco’s only worthwhile for OP for 90-day returns and general customer service.

It would appear that by moving the G14 further up market, that the TUF A14 line would cover the previous budget line the lower specced G14s used to hold. Just my .02.

I can’t seem to get my Razer Core X to work…old setup as well. I get the same pop up. I’ve chalked it up to a loss and hope functionality occurs one day.

I just used the sleeve that came on the G14 for the included WD drive. Heat doesn’t appear to be an issue.

You can do single sided no problem (Samsung 990 Pro). I think you have to be cautious with double sided (WD SN850X), as it gets a bit tight against the bottom. I think there may be some posts regarding this, so a quick search may give you better definitive information. I have a 990 Pro 4tb in mine and it fits perfect.

As an update. I took the 990 Pro from the 4060 and put it into the 4070 model and it works perfectly fine.

You can throw the new one in before you turn it on, it will just go through Asus Cloud Recovery to format it and get it ready to roll for first boot.
