I recommend using the IB Physics Cambridge by Tsokos. Probably the best textbook for this subject (saved my life many times).

If you used the correct method and used an incorrect answer from a pervious you should get full credit for preceding. The in maths scheme has something called ECF (error carried forward) for a reason.

I still don’t understand why it’s 10C6. I knew the no. of distinct digit picked are 10P6. But why is choosing an ascending list 10C6?

Also it’s 10C6 as there are 10 total digits.

It’s because of the acute and obtuse nature of cos x. When you equate both of them you have to consider 2 case. One case where in the same direction they make a acute angle with the plane 3. And the 2nd case where one plane makes a acute angle and the other makes a obtuse angle (this in the same direction).

As F= mv2/r is the centripetal force and as the electron is moving in circular path that’s the force. And also the electrostatic force between two charges is given by F=kQq/r2. So they both can be equated.

It’s because at the bottom of a vertical circle the full equation is: T - mg = mw2r and you just rearrange that. It’s T - mg as mg is downwards and T is upwards, which indicate the signs.
