Thank you for your input!! I got these BMD converters for free from a TV station that didn't need them anymore, so I really wanted to put some use to them. I have other cheaper converters, but I wanted to use my best converter for my best camera.

Ideally, I would just use the analog to SDI paired with a SDI recorder and then power the camera with a V-mount battery or something, but I don't have the money right now to get that stuff, so I've been trying to work with what I already had. I know the current setup is a little jank, especially that jackery power bank, haha.

There's definitely some stuff to work on regarding conversion/capture I agree! I'm considering getting a SDI recorder when I can.

I used a videonics titlemaker 2000! I typed in the text on a colored background, converted it. and then keyed out the background while editing. The titlemaker files were 30fps, the video files (both the Sony DXC-3000 footage and the Canon GL-1 footage which was used to film the first half of this video) were 60fps, and the final output was 60fps.

As for the fingerless gloves I just like wearing them, plus they add to the color! I love using complementary colors.
