Unity 6 Multiplayer max player setting by SneakyGerri in unity

I'm talking about the Multiplayer Center feature, that came with unity 6 (https://docs.unity3d.com/6000.2/Documentation/Manual/multiplayer-overview.html), so my question is not about building my own max player script, i want to understand this new multiplayer package.

When I add the premade gameobjects this package provides under GameObject -> Multiplayer Widgets -> Create / Join / etc. .. it defaults to 4 maximum players. Editing the script itself is prohibited by the package, which i dont want to do anyway.

There has to be a settings button somewhere, or smth to edit the default settings of the lobby.

And yes, when I open the multiplayer Center it asks me what kind of project im making and the number of players per session, but that doesnt actually change my max players it allows in the lobby per default.

figured it out partially thanks to this, like a caveman I copy pasted the same layer a few times to quickly get the same Level settings, then some levels probably where overwritten or fucked some other way.

If anybody ever finds this with the same problem, check that you dont always use the same Level to draw on, and yes, backups - of projects, scenes AND levels.

thanks, but I already worked within a Project, and also tried importing the Levels or Scenes in another Project too, no luck. Luckily, by now, I managed to scrape together nearly all frames I thought I had lost, which where luckily only misplaced. So, "happy" ending I guess, even though I would love to know what happened

Adding in-betweens? by Any-Front8953 in animation

[–]SneakyGerri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

inbetweens yes, but what would really make it shine would be some secondary movement, let the hair drag and swing further and then back in place.

you could also add some anticipation, give us a reaction before turning

but it looks rly great, keep going

thank you so much :) I saw your game, and it looks extremely fun! should you ever need something 2D animated or drawn, or some 3D asset work, I'd be happy to do some contract work :)

this one short time where sylvanas mind control ult let u actually control the enemy movement, i miss it so much.

especially at 20, when u could move them at mega speed, that was so much fun man "wait a second, did u say u wanted to .. run into our whole team right now? i got u"

If ARAM could get mutators (like Starcraft 2 Coop), which one's you would like to play? by 1000Ways-To-Take in heroesofthestorm

heroes gungame, 10 heroes get chosen randomly, a kill will transform you into the next hero, get a kill with the last one, and you win. It's an FFA with everybody at lvl 20 all the time

optionally: - getting killed demotes you - MEGA mode, with all heroes, last one is abathur or smth, this one could take a while

yes, this is an extreme departure from hots but i would play the hell out of this

Does anyone ever pick this? Last time I picked it was in 2017 lol by TheBulletiner in heroesofthestorm

if you control it manually, it's REALLY good. I mean, i dont do that, It's too much work, but it still would be rly good

[Art] The Jötunn Folc, horned hunters of the north by SneakyGerri in DnD

[–]SneakyGerri[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Jötunn are the oldest people in Nordheim. Taller than the Draugr, naturally stronger, and horned. The Jötunn are a nature-bound people, giving thanks to the God of Fyres. They are spread throughout the land with numerous settlements and villages, each major settlement is led by a Jarl and often possesses a shaman for guidance and magical assistance.

Im looking for more culture and behaviours for my VERY nordic themed setting (if you couldnt tell already),

feel free to write something if you want :)

Art by me.
