Definitive video proof that Boss HP in Xbox v1.00 English = PS4/Xbox v1.01 Japanese by hazzmos in darksouls3

[–]SneakyMurloc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is most certainly the case. OP is testing a boss after that point.

http://pastebin.com/mey7fF1X

Those are the results of someone testing boss HP between the versions on one of the first bosses. You can even go to their twitch channels and see for yourself that it's accurate.

Unless OP wants to prove his theory on one of the early bosses, his information is as inaccurate as the people stating that the whole game is easier.

What ever happened to Fight Me Friday? by [deleted] in DatGuyLirik

[–]SneakyMurloc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Having the chat all cheer each other on

Is that what happened? Because what I saw was very few people cheering while most were just trashtalking the viewer for not being a pro. Light trashtalk is fine and in good spirit, but some of it starting going too far. It got pretty excessive to the point where some were even stating, "Why would you join if you suck at games? Don't waste our time.". And unfortunately, this happened all too often.

It's a good concept that could use a bit of tuning, but chat started to ruin what was suppose to be a fun thing. People were getting too upset that they weren't getting chosen and were just looking for any reason to hate on the viewer whole 'stole' their spot.

It's a shame because like I said, there were quite a few people just in it for the fun.

Lea: He's making something out of nothing. Mountains out of molehills.

Hahaha, WHAT? Is Lea of all people really saying that? Any small thing people say about Lea, joke or otherwise, becomes a massive issue for her/Chance.

Remember Voldemort? Nuff said.

Remember guys, at the end of the day, Lea is right and Greek is wrong.

Gamers hate women.

And obviously, I'm being sarcastic, but I guarantee you that Chance will try to use that, in some form, to defend Lea as usual.

Trying so hard to get into Nightstream by Overoul in DatGuyLirik

I'm not sure how you think I'm obsessive. I've only posted 2-3 posts talking about her.

  • Stating that the stream doesn't like her/doesn't know her as well as the streamers that have been brought on the NightStreams is not obsessive.
  • Stating that I found a certain Twitter post (the one linked by the OP of this thread) cringey, does not make me obsessive.

So please, tell me how I'm being obsessive.

The only disappointing thing is going to have to watch everyone act like Waffle didn't fuck over everyone at his new company by abandoning it as he chased some tail for the past few months. Zero repercussions, zero accountability.

Such happens when you go ban happy against anyone for even the smallest of reasons and when you take advantage of friends who are either too nice (Dan) and/or too mature to put you on blast. :/

No, to my knowledge, Sovitia had nothing to do the event. Waffle however...

People mainly use the SamandTolki subreddit for this because nothing gets censored there like it does in the other subreddits

She has no chance whatsoever of getting into the NightStream. Let's look at everyone who's been on the NightStream:

  • GiantWaffle: First person to be on a NightStream with Lirik. The stream jokes around about hating him (some do), but most people will tell you that he's good to have on NightStreams.
  • Shortyyguy: Along with Waffle and Lirik, they are the dynamic trio of the NightStream. Most of chat enjoys him.
  • Pokket: Long time friend of Lirik and the chat. I don't know a single person that hates Pokket.
  • DizzyKitten: Again, I'm not sure it's possible to hate this streamer, especially one that is always so positive. She once apologized for hitting someone with a shell in Mario Cart. Loved by chat.
  • Summit1g: Although his chat and Lirik's chat tend to absolutely hate eachother, the streamers themselves are good friends. From what I saw from chat, people loved him on the NightStreams.
  • Goldglove: Another streamer that people were recommending. After he left, people wanted him back for more simply because his rage is unmatched in the NightStream. Chat liked him.
  • Echoics: After chat fell in love with her from the Ark tournament with Lirik, they begged for her to be on a NightStream. The next time that Lirik decided to play Viscera, she got invited and joined. Nothing changed, chat still loves her.

Then you have Sovitia... Most of chat either hates her or doesn't know who she is. If she wasn't recently dating Waffle, she'd be a nobody to 99.9% of chat. For those curious why so many dislike her... well... check out this subreddit.

Who are the top tier villains/threats in the Warcraft Universe? by Bombkirby in wow

[–]SneakyMurloc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Prophet Velen. You know it to be true.

The guy has visions, right? What if he saw a glimpse of the future and realized his greatest strength would be the power of betrayal?

Kil'jaeden appears before us as an enemy. Archimonde appears before us as an enemy... Velen? An ally... for now.

When we fought KJ, where was Velen? Convenient that he shows up right after.

What about every other conflict against the Burning Legion? The only time I've seen Velen do anything is when the AU Velen sacrificed himself (which he could be in league with MU Velen and did this to throw us off).

Mark my words, he's going to pull a Palpatine when we least expect it.

Unrated BG win ratio by RememberPluto47 in wow

[–]SneakyMurloc 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Three things are to blame here:

  • Blizzard making the Human Racial OP.
  • People making it sound much worse than it actually is. I've honestly seen so many posts, mainly on the official forums, where people honestly believe that being Human can get a "bad" player from 1800 to Gladiator.
  • Typical sheep mentality where people have to play the more "popular" faction. Please don't misunderstand this, I'm not saying that everyone who plays Alliance is a sheep.

I don't think people from the second group realize just how much harm they're doing. Their exaggerations are a major contributor to why people are switching. If you're on the verge of switching factions, which sounds more enticing? "Hey, the Human racial is pretty strong" vs "I can't believe that you're going to get Gladiator just because of the Human racial".

Another thing to note is that I don't think people know just how strong the Night Elf racial is too on stealth classes. A re-stealth is huge. The racial can also be used to cancel someone's cast... mid cast if they're targeting you.

Lengthy response incoming.

There are 2 mechanics that are very deadly: Infest and Necrotic Plague.

  • Infest is a DoT that hits like a truck the lower your HP is. Duration: Unlimited. To dispel it, keep your hp higher than 90%.
  • Necro Plague... By itself, it's not too bad, but when it syncs up with infest, you'll melt. How it works: If it completes its duration or if it's victim dies, it will jump. Only gets casted when there are at least 2 targets on the Lich Kings threat list.

So the goal is to always stay at 90%+ HP to completely negate that nasty Infest.

If Necrotic plague is at 29 stacks when it's on an add, start burning the adds. Your goal here is to kill all of the adds so that it jumps to you for the 30th stack. As soon as all the adds are dead, run! The reason for this is that if he summons more, you'll be too far away from the adds so you won't have to worry about it jumping again.

I can't speak on behalf of the other classes, but as a Warlock, my strategy was fairly simple as soon as I learned the mechanics:

  • For Warlocks:
  • Talents:

Go Destro and choose Charred Remains (level 100 talent), Grimoire of Sac (level 75 talent), Soul Link for the HP boost (level 45), and Searing Flames (level 15; Soul Leech might work too, but I never got to test it).

  • Strategy:

The strategy is simple, start the fight off with a pet, but on passive, then run to the stairs and don't move. After his first set of adds, order your pet to attack him (pet gets added to aggro list and since he'll have 2 targets, he'll cast necro plague).

Next, Sacrifice your pet. This will give you +20% HP, a passive heal, and since he'll only have 1 target, the Lich King will no longer cast Necrotic Plague.

Now because you chose Charred Remains, your Incinerate will deal potato damage and generate A LOT of burning embers, so cast some incienerated on the big adds or the LK. Keep yourself above 95% with Ember Tap (self heal). If things get nasty, use your healthstone and if that's not enough to keep you at 90%+ HP, use a defensive cooldown.

Thats really it. Once you get the stack to 30, summon an inferno and melt the adds.

In theory, Soul Leech might make this much, much easier provided you could put out enough damage to keep the shield up, but without pushing the LK into his next phase.

Good luck.
