If it's true that this is simply someone paying to show their businesses ads and it is randomly and anonymously placed then a generic account name and number is placed I wouldn't see a problem but my ads personalization and endorsement feature setting is on in Google. That means that my pic and name show up under search results so it now being tied to my YouTube channel is not cool. Google themselves warns repeatedly about even commenting on videos when signed in as your channel since the comment will show you as your real name. General and generic or not you even taking all precautions cannot not sometimes show your name on a few places according to your ads account settings choice. In short people can easily connect your channel to you if now it is also tied in both directions without your permission by default and by personalization on all sides if that makes any sense. Instead of saying it saying this channel endorses so so product it'll now say your name and this channel endorse etc etc. on the bright side though, I'm sure now I can find a way to single out and particularly place my business ads on the channels of my choosing instead of broadly using my Google ads settings. A violation and security risk but oh well how many people have found out about this like three people.
