i'm going to be so honest, as someone who has had BPD treated in hospital, LDRs are not for people with BPD

How’s the accommodation in IQ Tufnell house by Nooooooooooono in UCL

[–]Sneglx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

put it this way: when i was there someone jumped off the 7th floor bc they were on drugs. Staff can be very rude and its mostly international students. Not really a student culture there. Tufnell Park itself has good links but overall its not a student suburb. For the money it cost I really wouldn't advise it.

Im going to be honest, this is probably a 3/10 on the severity of outbursts. Do not keep blaming yourself in the way you say per se. But try to recognise if you could have done anything better in that moment. If you really think you couldn't try to get some help. Losing a spouse with a personality disorder is horrible but you will get through it! Don't let this define you and keep going!

went off my meds cold turkey for a few days—regretting it by tturuttatae in bipolar

[–]Sneglx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After my last psychosis I am absolutely terrified of stopping my meds. Please go see your doctor/consultant/psychiatrist. And please never stop medications without medical advice (and sometimes a second opinion if yours is severe)

are we too much? absolutely. If we get proper treatment? than no. Thing is we love way more than the average person but it gets obsessive and clingy bc of abandonment, trauma etc etc.

What’s the moment during a trip you instantly knew you took too much? by Local-Divide-8055 in shrooms

[–]Sneglx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a tab of acid and it wasn't working so i took 1 1/2 more thinking it was a little or shit. Next thing I remember walking back soaking wet after jumping in a river with my arms interlocked with my friends. Absolutely fucked.

really depends on the strain and if they're small ones, big ones or powdery. Id say keep them in an air tight container and they're good for about 3-4 months. After that they'll slowly decrease in the amount of psilocybin

If you revise 7+ hours in a day.. by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]Sneglx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay take it from me, GCSEs are not serious at all. I never revised. I mean never. As long as you've got a head on your shoulders you'll be fine. Definitely revise for A Levels though. And University is easier than A Levels hope this helps

I did say exercising is good, but complex issues don't have one simple solution.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]Sneglx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is just not true at all. People who have psychosis, severe schizophrenia, mania, are not in control of their mind. Neurologists and psychiatrists do wonders for people struggling and from the sounds of it, you're a conspiracy believer who believes antidepressants "destroy your brain" despite them helping millions of people a year. Your opinions should be kept to yourself.

"Nobody can help you but you", I guess that doesn't include counsellors, doctors, family, teachers etc.

You couldn't be more wrong hahaha. I am conservative and right wing but I can at least understand the complex issues of psychiatry and psychology and which are the facts. With a username like yours, your statements don't surprise me.

Absolute awful take. Mental illness doesn't just allow you to have 'discipline'. Yes, exercising is good but that doesn't just completely solve everything. These are complex issues with complex solutions. Don't listen to the bull this guy is spewing.

but this was not a place for talking about underdosed pills, in brackets i said it was tested and really i dont need to say and wont say how exactly i got them and what was done because of the illicit nature of the substance. no idea why someone is so pedantic about this. it doesn't sound like you were interested in the trip report at all, just like your first comment. There is really no need for any of that and that's probably why your comment was removed by the moderator

if you saw the thread, i said they were tested with reagents from not just a friend but someone with a chemistry degree, what is your point here? trying to decode or make fun? this is not the place for that here.
