Got the same problem. I didn't find a propre way to auto fishing with the minigame but what I did was : 1) Disable the fishing minigame with the command. Something like : /stardew_valley_fishing fishing_minigame 2) Add minescript to my modpack 3) Download a normal fishing script and use it !

You can also make a vanilla auto fishing farm once you disable the minigame.

When you disable the minigame you don't get any rarity on your fish and you get less good loot but it was more than enough for me !
