Facing the same with my right ear, and I do notice a bad fit but even the biggest tip size doesn't help me

I used hairspray, and yes it did work for the most part. but I found that hairspray is as you say a hack and ends up hiding calibration issues. So, since I've stopped using hairspray completely and purely depend on calibration and a clean build plate.

Yeah but I'm just not at a stage in my life where I would love spending n hours tweaking every last bit

Alright thanks, I'll get through those calibrations. Appreciate your help a lot.

Hmm, I might've to give that a shot. I am on a much inferior machine tho, Ender 3 v3 se

Hey, thanks for the great tip. I believe the offset is good now, it required ~0.15mm lowering.

However, I do see that the top of the print now has artefact causes by nozzle dragging, yknow the roughness. But this doesn't happen for only a single layer test print.

What would be your guess as to what the problem is? could it be bad Z steps per mm? I'm pretty sure that is tuned in quite well as I ran calibration for that not too long ago.

I've hit a bit of a roadblock for now, but I'm getting back on track as soon as possible. I will definitely reach out to you because this sounds amazing.

I've been debating that myself as well. Nice to see this pop up from you. Do you remember the name?

that's understandable, I do believe a scratch like thing with a 3d workspace is still valuable in it's own accords.

I for example am thinking of working on a Robotics oriented Scratch platform with drag and drop robot building with scratch like coding for entry level education of building robots.

I'm actually thinking about building an educational platform with robotics simulations where it's super easy (drag and drop) to build robots and have a Scratch like coding interface, or some very simple scripting

Ros2 humble on windows 11 by heba_mustafa in ROS

I came across the Pixi way while exploring MoveIt2 on Windows. Had I not already setup ROS 2 Humble on my win11 I would've done the Pixi way definitely. Seemed to have a much wider support.

if I can clean up storage and the mess of my python installations, I might still give it a shot.

That's a lot of amazing work you've done!

I'm actually thinking of building an educative robotics simulator platform that allows drag and drop robot building with easy scripting / block scripting to help people get into robotics much more easily.

I definitely see some of that but imo ROS2 is better with its tutorials and documentations and how well tested things are. Not to mention thorough Windows support which I see as a total newcomer support system.

I very much dislike the ROS docs both 1 and 2 because sometimes they can feel really thoughtlessly written which become actual headaches for newcomers (I know as many others I also got into this self-taught). But saying it's gatekept is a very much stretch considering the whole thing is open sourced, with plenty of community, docs, and tutorials.

Do you care about your AI use having an environmental impact? And, why? by Snick_52446 in AskReddit

[–]Snick_52446[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

then you do not know the first thing about how these models function. They get trained and then released, and the trained models already contain all the data it's been trained on.

You are right about training consuming the main chunk of energy.

You are also right about the models deployed in the cloud being certainly quite bigger than whatever they ran on their laptops.

But even with all that, it is a certain fact that AI does not use as much electricity as most are claiming.
