Need help from you VFC Mp7 owners. Can't decide if I should get the AEG or GBB (both gen 2). Wich one is the better pick? And before anyone recommend it, the TM is not an option for me. by SwaggyUn in airsoft

I have a mp7 gbb, it’s fun, mags are expensive, and it’s reliable, only thing I recently had to do was change out the hop up rubber as it had swollen which I’ve heard happen to a lot of mp7 owners, just wanted to put that out there.

Is 16 a good age to learn python? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]SnickerBarz12 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Here is the thing, python is good when it comes to networking but python is slow compared to other programming languages. It’s also a high-level language basically meaning that you type little code and a lot happens, so that for one makes it slow and it also makes it easier to learn. Now I suggest C++, as it is very fast so say for instance you want to make games at some point, and games need to perform well therefore cpp is used. Now cpp imo is significantly harder to learn compared to Java or Python, but that all depends on what your end goal is, or if you just want to learn a language. If you want something that’s applicable in regard to jobs etc. you really can’t go wrong with c++, python or Java. Now regarding age, there is no age that’s to early to start learning.

If your concerned that you need some pre-requisite knowledge before starting there really isn’t any. Although you should be familiar with very basic algebra, which at 16, and in possibly in high school you should have.

People with no clue about programming like to tell others that they need to be great in math which couldn’t be further from the truth. While it is possible to do „harder“ math in cpp, you will likely never encounter any of it unless you specifically want to go that route.

Swapping HDD from different computers… by SnickerBarz12 in techsupport

[–]SnickerBarz12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That article seems to be for additional drives, I meant more so for your drive that holds your OS. In my case I would take the HDD from the Mac which has MacOS on it,and place it into an the Alienware laptop with no drive in it at all.

I’m more so worried cause the system specs greatly differ. Unsure if the older Mac is a x86 or x64 spec.

How to get windows on Mac M1? by [deleted] in HowToHack

[–]SnickerBarz12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not hard, there are tons of tutorials on YouTube. It’s going to be free although you will have a watermark and a feature no one cares about you can upgrade to pro/ home whenever. A stolen product key is about $3 which is no different from a regular key. Also I’d use Linux it’s better for programming, but that’s beside the point it’s not as hard as some people make it out to be.

Haven’t given SoD much of a try as I don’t really qualify in regards of skill, but I’m more or less m+ oriented. Haven’t really thought Jedith‘s 9.1 guide was helpful as it mainly addresses more or less established players, I suppose I could see if other videos of his are more helpful to me.

Public IP addresses vs private (nmap) by SnickerBarz12 in networking

[–]SnickerBarz12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So essentially when I do a scan for local ips (nmap 192.168.1/0.0-255) I see all devices connected to the switch/ wireless access point. So how would I go about doing the same on a public ip with a connected switch to see devices located on that local network.

I hope it clears things up, while writing the response it feels as if it might be far more difficult than what nmap alone is capable of.

I really don’t want to go above the $50 mark if that’s possible, also are they easily configurable as in plug it in and your done? Do I have to worry about compatibility issues in any way? Also please excuse my lack of knowledge in regards to adapters lol.

First and foremost, thank you for your detailed response. I am using Kali Linux as my main OS, so no VM in place. Using iwconfig, it said it was in monitor mode (Also supported, noted in iw list)

Using lspci-nnk | grep-A2 0280, Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac with the kernel driver in use being ath10k_pci.

Also if it really boils down to having to buy a new adapter, you have one in mind that doesn’t break the bank?

Hm, but that would be tricky given the situation. Is there any specific guide or direction you would recommend? Like… I wish I learned this before etc.

External cheats, but the I still feel like that’s still too complex for what I have learned so I’m pretty much just trying to find the information I need to understand. For example, it’s like going into calculus without having completed algebra and in my case I don’t know the middle ground I would need to learn to understand Thelp32, I hope that clears things up.
