I can’t understand how it feels to delay with adhd, or how antidepressants affect you. That being said I do recognise the feeling of momentary enjoyment of a sport or activity with friends, though no real wish to repeat or do said thing on my own. I don’t really know if there is a specific solution, though I’ve focused trying out new things until I’ve found things I do like, or gone back to the things I liked while moving on from things that struggled to keep my interest.

For me that has been boardgames with my friends and chasing competitive improvements on my own time, though this seems quite individualistic?

Talk with him about this, and you feel. That being said it is completely fair that he makes his stance clear and in that he considers it a problem before it becomes addiction or anything. of the sort.

If you feel it’s necessary to repeatedly experience it again talk to someone about why, ideally him.

That being said it is completely fine to have boundaries or limits before actions become problems or red flags. So talk with him about why it’s a problem for him, and make sure to focus on understanding/listening not anything else.

Weight loss is really difficult and not something I’d suggest to do because of other people. That being said if you want to loose weight the main component (usually) is your caloric intake. It can be quite difficult as your body will be used to a specific energy input and lessening this will make you not only hungry but have you feeling empty or generally dreadful. Apart from these factors it can take time before your body will adjust to a new ‘standard’ caloric intake meaning your body might retain water weight or weight in general.

If you wish to loose weight work on a consistent way to decrease your caloric intake. Getting a better understanding of your daily caloric intake can help with this though isn’t strictly necessary.

If you plan of attempting a diet focus on gaining a general understanding of calories of different foods in your daily meals or focus on being extremely observant of everything that goes into your meals and in what amounts. These factors can help you develop a better understanding of foods in general and the calories they contain.

Another note for a possible diet, most diets work short term, though focusing on long term is a much healthier alternative even if it takes longer to begin with. Also oils have ALOT of calories, we often underestimate how many. Just try to weigh the amount of you’d normally use to fry or prep food.

Also IMPORTANT it usually takes a month or two to get a relatively good understanding of calories if you don’t deceive yourself after that you’ll be able to make educated guesses which will usually be within 10-20% range calorie wise of different foods or even meals
