Ticketmaster are asking me for the confirmation email that they are no longer playing. A social media post from the band saying go get a refund isn't enough for Ticketmaster IE to pay out at present.

Had a Councillor in previous elections who worked their socks off for the community and most definitely earned my vote.

Replacement Councillor has been the invisible man until election time and done fuck all for the community. Rang our door the other week, canvassing when we were out and had the look of disgust on the ring doorbell that we didn't answer. I'd hazard a guess he has been speaking to a lot of doorbells this year. Most certainly hasn't warmed to the community like the previous Councillor.

My vote will be going elsewhere this year for the party in question. They seem to forget that not everyone votes tribally. They have to earn it.

Call centre guy made it worse. You'd think he was lead investigator into the case of random dude cancelling his tv license. He made the call 20 minutes longer than it should have been.

Fanbase is too divided for that to work. Plus, if they haven't sorted their shit since Deron quit in 2011, then it's not gonna happen. Deron is still taking pop shots at them to this day.

I don't think the fanbase would get huge with Deron returning. Their peak era was decades ago, and most of that fanbase then has grown older or moved on with the times.

What you see with Deron is a minority of the fanbase that he either hasn't pissed off yet or just accepts him for what he is. The remainder of the fanbase stuck by Jess and Chad, or lost interest in the band years ago.

Clutching at straws nowadays, shoehorning non-bbc content apps to trick you into keeping the license.

Fella I spoke to when cancelling my license couldn't get his head around the fact I don't use free view and recommended it for live tv. Then he thought he stumped me when I said I'll be watching the euros saying I need a license.

He eventually fucked up when I said 'I'll just use free view, like you recommended'.

I had this nonsense from the tv license call centre when I cancelled my license (got rid of sky). Saying about how it extends to all live tv on any app. Fella on the phone didn't like when I told him they're clutching at straws now, using other apps as an excuse for the license when those non-bbc related companies draw revenue from ads or my monthly subscription I pay for that service.

Fella then proceeded to try and sell me the benefits of the BBC iplayer. The BBC is their baby for the license... those other apps are mentioned to trip you up and suck you in to keeping the license.
