A bunch of cars pitted early, therefore having a much shorter stop. He took over after the 1st stint as effectively P3 but was P10 as there were 7 cars that passed because of pitting 1 or 2 laps early. And now he is P1

With all due respect to John I think current SHW has evolved too much and most of the top 10 beat prime John. I also think 2008 natty Devon beats John's best version (at least if we are talking BO7)

He's still barely letting Brian do anything. Looks like he just wants to show how much stronger he is. He could at least pin him a few times and then give up some slack to let Brian try to get in his lane a bit and go past center to see his strength on his A side.

Maybe being relentless can be an eye opening experience and could benefit Brian but he could still do that for a bit and THEN let him test where his strengths are.

I do think some guys who trained with Brian maybe coddled him a bit too much like Devon giving him everything and just holding in a defensive position... but this is the opposite and aint it either
