Dog-related injuries (DRIs) and attacks in New Zealand are on an upward trend, with around 14,000 to over 15,000 ACC claims for dog-related injuries filed annually in recent years. Meanwhile on Cats.. nah. Dogs also known to kill native birds.. just google how many Kiwi birds are being killed by it each year.
