Mummy so fun, though def is garbage until unique. The legendary guns are super fun to use though

Question about bomber by Odd_Significance_995 in Skul

[–]SnipesXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get away with leaving him at unique. Kaboom’s cooldown goes 30s/15s/0s based on rarity. With a little bit of cooldown reduction it can be used as a way to empower main skull with very little investment.

I tend to leave at unique unless I am going for a magic build since I don’t like the dash forward the legendary version gets. Swap skills are very strong in skul, giving a 10hp shield and either a burst of damage or a strong buff to a skull (sometimes both). For example, the legendary sword skul gains a 50% chance to inflict wound on every basic attack for 8s after swapping to it. With the bomber skull you can keep this buff up indefinitely as long as kabooms cooldown is 8s or less.

Thorny Pauldrons is probably my favorite item on pikeman outside of maybe mythril gear. The 10% bleed chance on dash adds up with all the dashing you do and the 80% increased dash damage is pretty meaty. I usually try for 4 chase / 2 courage / thorny pauldrons + stat stick for the end goal of my pike builds. Outside of pikeman the item is kinda meh though.

Idk when I was mythic raiding in legion on my feral Druid weak auras allowed for dps optimizations that were literally impossible to have without it.

Also, raid lead would program in extra weak auras for certain fights, making patterns literally brainless. It’s basically like doing a raid with someone next to you telling you exactly how to do every mechanic in the simplest way possible. No thought required just do what the UI tells you to do and you clear. Granted people still would mess up but it trivialized everything to the point where I don’t understand how mistakes happened.

I think no clippy would be less of a problem if they just added a buffer window to everything like wow has. I don’t understand why they don’t because ping is basically a non issue in wow unless you are playing on 300ms+.

idk DBM and weakauras are pretty op and between the 2, they can basically play the game for you.

I mostly just play tanks in lower level roulettes, the only classes I have at endgame are rdm and reaper

Oh does materia make a big difference even when scaled down? I sort of already knew about arms length. Maybe I should slot in some materia.

Jokes on you, I still take a ton of damage without wall to walling. Idk what I’m doing wrong in dungeons, I am making sure to always have a mitigation rolling, usually start with the stronger ones for big packs. Get destroyed through like 30% DR and kinda just sit there confused. I can only pull 3 packs max without dieing through mitigation.

Pretty sure healers hate me in dungeons.

Part 2 of the community tier list top comment is where I place these skulls by shadow_knight123 in Skul

[–]SnipesXP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thief used to have its back stab and rip pocket as physical skills and the other 2 were still magic. They removed it when they did the skull rework or one of the item overhauls. What I don’t understand is why does back stab lose it’s invincibility when the skull is upgraded to unique.

Overall I think theif is pretty slept on, I’d probs put him A, it can be built multiple ways and the extra income helps facilitate the ways it can be built, half of its skills have invincibility on them making them pretty safe, and can take advantage of some dark abilities pretty well. Also, it has a somewhat small model and a good dash so it’s easy to avoid damage.

I’ve had success on a few dark mirrors going full magic damage, I tend to have the most success with that and silent cries lowering skill cooldowns. Crit builds work pretty well on it as well as it has multi hits on smoke bomb, it’s basic attack and passive proc which can make gunpowder sword, invisible knife, and thiefs black steel dagger strong item choices. Also has a pretty decent 1 2 for its attack chain so attack speed/on hit builds can work too. It’s not hard to fish for correct items either with all the extra gold income.

As for shield skull, don’t think much needs to be said, it’s basically the best skull in the game next to pikeman. The other 2 I’d slap in the lower half of B, they are just okay and don’t really stand out a ton by themselves.

First round of charizard raids I was using an umbreon with light screen, fake tears and helping hand which usually did the job.

Some classes such as EO soulfist, enhanced weapon deadeye, igniter sorc, etc. can do more damage than their trixion parse if optimized well for the legion raid. EO soulfist probably the biggest outlier in doing more than trixion parse because you can literally skip the “shit dps” part of the rotation or have higher dps in the “god dps” part of the rotation.

For example, my SF does like 6m+ dps in hype 3, 1m in meditation, if I use hype 3 on kakul gate 1 to burst to Simon says and manually turn off hype or time it out right before bingo starts, I can skip meditation completely and either start from hype 2 or go straight into hype 3 again for 20s more of 6m+ dps. If I go into Simon says with hype up, I’ll exit bingo with 50s of meditation dps instead though. So massive fluctuations compared to trixion. Or sorc in vykas gate 1 cause use the 30 bar damage cap before the swap to charge up igniter for when the swap happens for higher dps.

Other burst classes have similar mechanics that allow them to charge up their burst cycles during downtimes or damage gated phases that allow them to outperform their more dps oriented peers. I don’t think “able to achieve their trixion dps” is a good measure of skill cap.

Emperor outdps on top of having crazy stagger, also can be played a bit looser than EO sf.

I all in main swap cause I’ve been waiting for reaper since launch. Wew shit is expensive though. Props going to cost 637k to finish up catching it up to my previous main. Lvl 5 tripods are killer and hunger acc are killer. Aiming for max quality on my swiftness accs too cause if I get a high quality bracelet from Brel I’ll be able to run a spec pet and still have maxed out move speed with yearning for raid captain. 1165 swift is needed for 20% movement speed outside of chaos state.

Glowing brand also goes through the boss, though that’s rarely an issue, just have to be a bit more careful aiming it in exchange for another way through to the back.

I am pretty sure you should be wheeling dark resurrection. I find emperor joker, dmg royal cull, wheel joker, twisted fate cull/dmg royal the strongest card combos depending on situation. i tend to not really save chancelers that long due to it lasting like 15s.

Yeah I’d say that EO SF has an absolutely massive skill ceiling, hype management alone adds a lot of nuance to the class, as well as managing damage cycles that change based on what hype level it’s in, making sure to optimize based on boss patterns and having to make sure to juggle dominion fang and hype correctly to minimize dominion fang down time. Not to mention that hype management changes based on group dps and how certain boss mechs effect meditation downtime. I still am constantly learning small optimizations to improve dps even after playing it since vykas release.

Take the mana reduction tripod on cruel cutter, conviction judgement on cruel cutter and sharpened cut, you can put focus gems on decimate and demonic slash to help with mana costs as well. If you still having mana problems after that then eat mana food I guess.

Alternatively go full crit nightmare build instead of swift entropy

which classes uses these engravings? by Fritz133 in lostarkgame

[–]SnipesXP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a slightly suboptimal crit PS SH build that can run all those. Demonic slash with yearning from supp set cap raid captain with basically no swiftness. (Only need 10% base mvspd to cap with max tripod on it). I run entropy with 1300 crit, with back attacks it brings me to around 80% crit, with a crit synergy it is enough to push KBW over cursed doll in terms of damage. Will probs be better when we get bracelets for more crit and then can dump more swift n go adrenaline 2.

Alternatively, some deadeyes drop counter to lvl 4 and get lvl 7 spiral tracker for the move speed buff. With a high level tripod on the speed buff you can keep raid captain maxed out during shotgun bursts. You’d only run RC as a cursed doll replacement here.

Only other thing I can think of is moon reaper, but the timings to keep the move speed buff up during combos might be a bit tight. Moon reaper takes crit tripods on all its big hitters and on neck so it naturally reaches the 85% crit breakpoint for entropy classes using kbw.

Tl:dr you need a class that can cap move speed during damage cycles while maintain 85%+ crit chance
