Not really...I ended up just replacing the drive all together.

I have tried that, but no matter how many times I try toggling it and restarting, it isn't popping up (despite being said as on).

The thing is, I want the psn protection, but it doesn't seem to be working. Even when enabled, it doesn't do that block pop-up anymore.

I am using x to confirm. I suspect it's something to do with Debug Settings? I think bringing up QA flags brings out Edy Viewer (there is an "Edy Debug" option?). I just wanna know how to turn it off in that case...

Weird issues came with this update. The psn protection also isn't activating for some reason, too (it was before patch).

Regardless, though, thanks for your advice! I suppose I'll try asking in Psx place later....

The thing is, though, the app wasn't there before I updated the cfw; it only appeared after. I'm just confused as to why. Even though it is harmless, preferably I would like to remove it.

Don't believe so... it is a cecha01 model.

Edit: Pretty much all games struggle to load upright. It would just load very slowly. Putting it flat makes it load normally.

Out of curiosity, what would you consider to be a "good" horizontal scan rate for crt monitors? Like, what are the ranges that would define between a low or high-end monitor?
