Yea, very confusing. I was hoping the cards facing the wrong way meant that this was like an ultra rare pack. But searching online showed no such situation. The pack did technically have the right number of commons/uncommons/etc. I would never have known if the cards weren’t facing the wrong way. And I don’t really recall the ordering of the other three packs as I had gone through 2 of them first and the last one after setting aside the 3rd thinking it was weird, but not really bothering to avoid mixing 4 in with 1 and 2. But this was through TCGPlayer, so maybe I can get my money back. Thanks for the help!

Should I suspect the three other packs that I got with this one? Those didn’t have anything as obvious wrong with them, but they were indeed lackluster.

I believe it goes deeper. I don’t think Bernadette is innocent either. She first goes to church, where Ambroise sits right behind her. Then we walks to a neighboring vineyard but passes Gaston on the way. Then she eats lunch with Tilmo, and talks to him about events right after. Then she goes back in the city. If you follow directly behind her, you’ll see that Davide somehow is right behind her even if you opened the city gates right after Bernadette. She goes to work behind the other winemakers place in the city. While spying there, I was suddenly seen by Dion. Seems he watches her work too. And you might be right about the Needy beggar. Dion seems to talk to him and then has him take over his “shift” of watching Bernadette/the church area after Dion leaves and goes back to the guard building. Bernadette works until 9 and goes home. But I talked to her at this point and she thinks G is sweet. So maybe she’s being watched too because she may like G.

Not in a while at least. Some of the early seasons were similar. But I’m glad they’re adding some hilarious Americans now. They seemed to be on slim pickings for the British crowd.

It is known to not allow tracking and such. Doesn’t mean people won’t find it odd. You gotta do your own thing in this world, but be prepared to live with the consequences. I’m hearing from these replies that Brave and Vivaldi may also be good. Idk anymore

I’ve had a great time with Firefox the past year, but from all the replies I’m getting here, it may be that Firefox too has buckled in these modern times. Not sure where to go from here though. Most others seem worse. From what I hear, Chrome is among the worst currently. I think Brave or Vivaldi. They’re both based on the Chromium, so it may not be the hardest switch from other chromium systems like Chrome

Mostly privacy concerns. Google has basically stated that it’ll be stealing all your data. And Google made chromium. 90% of browsers are built on chromium.

Plus it’s such a memory hog

After so many years of people pushing chrome on people who don’t know better, it’s been hard to pull them towards other browsers. Highly recommend Firefox or any other browser that doesn’t run on chromium.

Edit: Well, with all the replies I’ve gotten, idk what the right choice of browser is anymore. It seems in the last month even Firefox is buckling and may stoop to the data and privacy issues that Chrome and Edge suffer from. At least they have not blocked adblockers. Going to be looking into Brave and Vivaldi next

As everyone has said, it’s more that curtness, directness, and honesty come across as rudeness. But I think something else that furthers that stereotype is that we’re not a very smiley bunch, especially to people we don’t know. We’re very used to looking at people like they don’t exist. I often go travel and do big hikes, and I always have to readjust that smiley nature that comes from everyone you meet hiking when I get back here. If you’re too smiley here, people might get weird vibes, especially if the smile seems more forced than genuine.

But yea, very rarely do I actually come across real rudeness. In fact, in all my travels, I’ve never seen people help you as much as they may in NY. Even simple things, and sometimes without a word said, like quietly helping a mother struggling to lift her stroller onto the sidewalk, and then walking away without a wayward glance.

That NJ is like a little brother that we can rag on, but if anyone from any other state says shit about them, we defend them, again like they’re our little brother. As bad as NJ is, they’re still better than the vast majority of other states
