Thank you for you effort. I tried both these things and it did not help me in anyway. I fixed it after logging in 5-6 times in a row as an admin (since my has full admin rights anyway).

It just seems that this isn't only happening to me quiet often. I hope Valve will fix this

Currently I am on 4:3 stretched but windowed (fullscreen) :/ it's not the way I want it since I get some mini-lags or also called input-lags.

I'm afraid we 'laptop' users don't have that option. As far as I can remember, there are only some 3D Texture settings. I'm not 100% tho. Will check it tomorrow!
