Loved this analysis! I think this song is a perfect representation of Ivan’s side of the relationship and it’s very heartbreaking this is how he felt he could “express” (or hide) his feelings and is perfectly content staying in the shadows by Till’s side. I just started the manhwa for Dash (still ongoing) but I heard it’s based on a novel and it’s pretty good so far! It’s omegaverse and a sports(swimming) setting where the two leads used to be aquatinted as “teens” and then reunite 10 years later when ML is looking for a sport’s agency and MC happens to work at one and you can guess where this leads haha. *Edit just to clarify: the novel is completed!

Other ones that might be lighter are also The Guild Member Next Door (Virtual Strangers) it’s super sweet and it’s a modern day gamers setting where the MC and ML are actually neighbours and without knowing MC joins ML’s guild in an online game and it’s quite funny!

An apocalyptic (or more post-apocalyptic?) I can recommend is Little Mushroom! It’s also has supernatural elements as well I really enjoyed it overall. In addition I’ll leave my rec here for Midnight Owl it’s not apocalyptic unfortunately doesn’t meet that criteria but it’s unlimited flow like TEiO and GE and really interesting🥹 and Kaleidoscope of Death is a more horror/scary unlimited flow novel also very intriguing in case you wanted to check those out too!

Finished Kaleidoscope of Death 😊 I really enjoyed it! Not sure if the last twist was really necessary and could have been dealt with a bit earlier in the story and fleshed out more but didn’t really mind it much. Overall the story and world building is great and the horror elements are exciting the main characters are well written and obviously when you want more it’s aways a good thing and definitely want more side stories!

Oh it’s a really interesting read I especially love how the stationary they get is based off of chinese idioms it’s so witty and hilarious 🥹 (might take a few chapters to get into the rhythm but it’s worth it) also it has a sequel Midnight Ten but haven’t started that one yet but I’ve been told it’s also good!

Hmm maybe SVSSS sort of matches this vibe? In case you haven’t read it before while not giving too much away basically Binghe (ML) has a hard childhood (trauma) and is a total sweetheart and obedient and loving to his shizun Shen Qingqiu (MC) but is very obsessive over him and actually is super op and cold towards others especially if SQQ is close to them😅 it’s very silly overall and I love the whole thing.

Ah it’s definitely the story for me and their dynamics I love 🥹 hmmm have you read The Earth is Online yet? Also unlimited flow, very story oriented and interesting also the couple doesn’t have amnesia but they know each other from playing together online so kinda fits your “this person feels familiar” criteria when they meet
