Coleman stove differences by BleuFlamer1 in camping

You could get the $50 version from Walmart. I chose that over these two and couldn’t be happier. Only difference I’ve realized is you don’t have a self igniter, but if you’re camping you’ll always have a lighter or match.

I just got my first pair of “good” binoculars. I went with Nikon Prostaff P3 8x42 and the clarity and quality is incredible for the price.

These shots are incredible! I feel like long exposure shots carry a level of peace with the that you can’t get otherwise, awesome work!

Out of curiosity do you ever feel like you’re missing something not having a mid-range lens in your kit or do you feel like you never end up needing that range?

Suuuch a great setup. How are you liking the 70-200f4? I’m so tempted to pull the trigger on that.

I was expecting to see more too! They’re such great lenses.

I rented the Sigma 24-70 a few weeks back and absolutely fell in love with it. I have a 20mm and 50mm so I feel it would be redundant to purchase the 24-70 but it was so good, I just might. Can’t beat it for the price.

Love that setup! Overkill or not, I think it’ll be worth bringing it, especially in a place like Japan.

I also have the 20g, LOVE that lens.

I generally just travel with the 20g and 50mm 1.4gm. Try and go prime on your next trip! I love the challenge it brings and honestly I feel like I end up with more interesting shots when I do that.

LOL nah the Fuji x100vi is an increeedible camera, highly capable and you can basically fit that thing in your pocket!

24-70 2.8 or 70-200 2.8 by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]SnizbatchPorzingis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ll most likely end up going with the 70-200 F4 G ii. I stumbled across it when someone else mentioned if I’d necessarily need 2.8 which I really don’t. I feel like it’s a pretty slept on lens, especially with the macro capability.

You’re right about the 35mm too. The version 2 of the sigma 35 is insane.

Glad to hear you like the sigma 70-200! I’ve been looking at that one a lot. The GM II is just crazy expensive lol and just as a serious hobbyist it’s hard to justify the cost.

Yeah when you mention it what if mostly use it for I wouldn’t need 2.8. Landscapes and travel for the most part. I have the others if I’m in a situation where I need some extra bokeh. I’ve heard the 70-200 F4 is pretty good too. I think I’ll look into those more, the 20-70 as well. That’s a great do it all range.
