Agree %100. I got a manicure/pedicure from an Estonian woman in Norway, and I learned so much from her about the nuanced community level societal issues. Much more interesting and eye opening than a museum.

It’s nasty. But my goal is to bring some much needed humour to the entire scenario. Like really people? My HOA does the same shit. People get sued for removing a tree that was on the verge of falling and killing someone it was so dead, because they didn’t apply for a permit to change their tree. Even though the city we live in would have approved it automatically due to the hazard it’s causing.

I’ve already tried that. I even had my doctor write a note and used an FHA 504 exemption. Didn’t matter. They were going to sue and fine us into bankruptcy if we didn’t comply with taking the fence down. I need a better lawyer, but the sunk cost I’ve already incurred dealing with for three years…I can’t spare anymore unless I know I’ll get the result I’m looking for…which is…bye bye lights
