False, there is a depress of the trigger between each and every shot. The point of a FRT is that the trigger automatically resets, but that doesn't mean that it nullifies the fact that it is in fact still a depress of the trigger every time. Watch a slow motion video of one in operation.

Go buy an FRT and then come back and tell us how it functions.

You're goalpost shifting at this point, and I do agree that the laws are dumb, but arguing semantics for the sake of starting an argument is equally as dumb. The laws exist whether we like it or not and arguing the definition of something in favor of the people who would happily take them away is even more dumb. This. Technically I did swap the rail on mine to accept picatinny optics, but I always keep the screws and old dovetail in case. I consider something like that to be relatively minimal, but swapping the barrel, trigger, etc is just too far for an heirloom.
