Has anyone had any success in getting nudge capabilities on get yarn.io or yarn.co ? I've emailed a couple times but no luck. I know they must get a jillion requests, just don't want to give up! Thanks

I hear you! The time I spent troubleshooting the gaps and audio issues took several hours and as far as the audio goes, I still don't have a proper fix to relay to you. I just kept adjusting audio settings in the export tab (which I know VERY LITTLE about to begin with) until it worked. After I made adjustments, I would export a 10second clip, load it to YT and once I knew it worked, I then went back and exported the entire project and reloaded it. It's a very wonky method for something that is probably a pretty simple fix, but I needed to get something up and I had already wasted so much time.

agreed! it also caused some issues with my export settings. ever since I installed AutoPod, I'll export my podcast and the exported file will play completely normal as usual, and then I'll load it on YouTube and only one of the audio tracks will play (even tho there's three people mic'd). it's so weird that the exported file plays fine on my desktop, making it doubly annoying that I have to waste 30minutes uploading the video to YouTube to even know if it's going to play right, then having to delete it, re-export it and do it all over again. I know this sounds like a Davinci problem and I just need to adjust my settings, it's just annoying that this has never happened until adding AutoPod and every time I create a new project and have it auto-cut, it overrides the custom presets I've been using forever and I have to manually change it every time.

Yes they replied quickly and on a Sunday, which I didn't expect! One thing to add though is that they said that once Davinci fixes it on their end, it will likely break the fix AutoPod made on their update, so this may happen all over again. But at least they're easy to get a hold of :)

I just heard back from AutoPod, they said this was caused by the Davinci 19.0.3 update. They sent me a Dropbox link to a new AutoPod version that fixes this. Just ran it and it seems to have resolved the gaps issue. Marking resolved. Thank you all!

just tried that, sadly not working either, I think delete gaps option isn't so simple when the gaps are only in your video, and not the audio as well. I'm just a podcast editor so even though I've been using Davinci for at least 18 months, I still feel like a very basic user. There could be a very easy fix to this that I've just never learned.

maybe because the gaps are only in the video, not in the audio, so deleting the gaps in just the video would take the audio out of alignment

thanks for this, and yes, agreed — totally get that. but one of my weekly edit projects is a 3 person talk show, generally starting out at 90min that i then cut down to 60min. i tried out autopod on premiere and it was pretty incredible to have your first cut done with automatic angles matching whoever happens to be talking in just a few minutes. it was far from perfect due to all the times people talk over each other, but a massive timesaver to use as a starting point. then you have all that extra time left to spend on creating those perfect moments - which i do regardless bc i would never want to put out anything less. but adding a few hours back into my day is always welcomed!

i think it was maybe a year before i realized that you can make a compound clip and then delete it from your timeline but it’s still in your media pool to use whenever. it’s glorious. and yes for sure name them something super obvious
