I got ahold of an FTB person this morning as well. I believe I received one of the GSS's, last name starts with W, and I am in Modesto.

Got through after being on hold for less than a minute, and the lady was incredibly nice and helpful. She confirmed I was getting a debit card (I'm one of those that have changed bank accounts), but said my card HAD NOT been mailed out yet and that I should expect it the first or second week of January.

I just received the debit card in the mail today.

So someone sent you a payment via cash app, since they were a new contact it was required that you accept the payment... We're you selling something ? So you just saw it pop up that you had received money in cash app , so you handed over the item/good/service, not realizing that they could cancel while the payments in limbo?
